This page is dedicated to the dazzling discoveries that I encounter. I pledge to keep things within a decent budget and accessible. Every week I will try to update this page with glorious glamourizers, be it make up, skin care, clothes or accessories, in my selfless pursuit of gorgeousness.
I’ve mentioned this moisturiser before, but I love it so much that I thought I would give it its own bit. Elegance Natural Skin Care is a family-run company that makes and sells their own organic products. I bought their avocado moisturiser and I can’t praise it enough. My skin feels soft and I have no dry patches or oily zones. Its absorbed quickly and smells lush. I got it at a local produce market but they have a website here. I love Neals Yard, and this range is similar, but not as expensive. Which makes it better in my
It’s a bit of a mouthful, but is very good, especially for the price. It removes eye makeup quickly and gently without leaving the eye area feeling greasy and clogged up. It’s also great at removing lipstick, and leaves the lips feeling soft and moisturised. All in all, a great little product that lasts ages and is gentle enough to use daily.
My hair is quite long, dyed and I have a fringe. Anyone who has ever had a fringe will know how much taking care of they need. You can’t let your hair dry by itself, they can get quite greasy quickly and can get on the fluffy side. Add all those things together and you have hair that needs a little TLC. I don’t want over-processed hair. Some “shine” products can leave your hair weighed down and… meh. Thats why I like these so much. They are cheap as chips (home bargains sells them too) and have made a real difference to my hair’s condition. Even the shampoo detangles my hair and the conditioner doesn’t OVER condition. They are brilliant.
Elegance Natural Skin Care Hand Cream
I’ve mentioned their Avocado moisturising cream in the past, but I’ve been using Elegance Natural Skin Care’s Manuka Honey handcream. It’s a little pricier than most products I talk about, but you only need a tiny bit and it works so well that I had to give it a mention. Its left my hands soft, smooth and helped clear up my psoriasis patches. It has also helped my nails grow and strengthen while softening my cuticles. It’s £23.10, but so worth it.
Seche Vite is a brilliant topcoat. Seriously great. My nailpolish doesn’t last all that well normally, I don’t know if it’s because I am too clumsy, my nails are too greasy (apparently that’s a real thing) or I have a smallish boy, a dog and a house that never gets tidy. A friend of mine recommended it, and it’s true that it’s quite pricey, but you can get it from Amazon for less than £6.00. Two coats on top of your polish and you’re good to go! It’s been one of Instyle Magazine’s Best Beauty Buys (Best Topcoat) for 8 years, 5 years running, that’s pretty damn good by anyone’s standards.
In a market that is full of competitors, it’s still the best by a long chalk. So thanks for the tip – you know who you are 😉
